As we slowly emerge from lockdown, we’ve taken some time to reflect on the past few weeks and what we learned through the entirely odd experience. In April, everybody was forced to take a step back from their bustling routines, and thankfully out of that, we had the time and space to address issues in our society that were highlighted through the pandemic. AB is grateful that we could hone our focus on areas of our community that we care about and identify with, despite the circumstances.
Thanks to you guys last week, we were able to contribute 🎉 SGD421 🎉 each to G.L.I.T.S. (Gays and Lesbians Living In a Transgender Society) and Oogachaga. G.L.I.T.S. is a grassroots organisation that provides support to the LGBTQIA+ community on a global scale while Oogachaga provides counselling services as well as affirming education and information resources for the local LGBTQ+ community, amongst many other support functions. Both these organisations are fiercely dedicated to their causes and we respect them greatly for that.
